I think there should be or else there would be a ton of kids getting tattoo's then growing up to regret what they got.. i think you should be mature to make a permanent decision like getting a tattoo

over here in England it is against the law to tattoo anybody under the age of 18, i have a sign on the wall saying "photo i.d is required" and i also have a sign saying " no hands, no faces and no necks so please dont ask ! "

I as a non artist thinks that no matter what the cost to the artist he or she should have higher standards then non artist. If a child really wants something done they will wait till they are of age or find some where to get it done. Not only regrets, but disease, and injury are other things they have to realize can happen and should be in their mind when they go get a tattoo

This is one of my biggest concerns!! I just had a lady get mad cause I wouldnt let her "sign for" her 12 year old!!!!! Thats F-n ridiculous thats child abuse!! I have a blanket policy against tattooing minors.....I DONT DO IT.....no exceotions no mom signs a permission slip i just dont do it......I'm a D*CK about tattooing 18-21 year olds they walk away from me pissed all the time cause i wont do necks or hands or just retarded gang or drug or just plain easily regretable tats for them..i dont want to be part of a regret!!!......its good to be in a business that you can turn away business for the sake of your integrity!!!
