izarrasink: youre on the right track, the stencil has to be perfect and so does the reference pic, i always wor. ...yep!...mean Michelle, thanks ae? took alot of what you previously told me on board, will attempt them again no doubt, just need more practise and confidence etc, etc, ...twas a double whammy this one with script so yeah? Ive got a bung eye?? haha...I did go in light to dark but yeah...eyes, teeth and lips are crucial points as well as hair and yeah?? Im trying...in all honesty though it does look better in person than..THAT?!! lol.

oh and you're better off marking in your areas of shading with dotted lines on your stencil so you get the shading spot on in the right place, any areas where you may do a light wash line i mark with a dotted line, portraits take a while, mine range from 2 hours to 3 usually ....when you get the hang of it you will enjoy it, if i could do them everyday i'd be one happy girly

Swan1: ...thanks man, I honestly HATE portraits, probably because I havent figured out how to do them prope you're on the right track, the stencil has to be perfect and so does the reference pic, i always work from light to dark....you can always add but cant take away :)

Outlaw: looks pretty good for a first attempt swan, i think that the angle of the photo and the blood in the ...thanks man, I honestly HATE portraits, probably because I havent figured out how to do them properly yet? Tricky things for me but yeah? will update with a healed picture in a week or so?
